In an effort to limit potential illness exposure to vulnerable populations, we are prepared to offer virtual therapy sessions in lieu of in-person sessions.

Here is what you need to know regarding seasonal illnesses:

The office is taking precautions with cleaning common areas and bathrooms. In Suite C, we are completing more frequent wipe downs of all commonly used surfaces. Even more frequent cleaning will be done if it is evident that an ill person has come through the suite. Hand sanitizer is available in the waiting area and offices.

We ask that you please wash your hands with soap and water (or, at minimum, use hand sanitizer) in the bathrooms before your session. This will help protect all of us, our families, you and your family and other clients who come see us.

IMPORTANT: Please cancel your in-person session (and schedule a virtual or phone session instead) if YOU or ANYONE IN YOUR HOME are ill. We are requesting you be fever-free for a minimum of 48 hours before coming in for a session. Please inform us if anyone in your immediate workspace or your child’s classrooms has any respiratory symptoms, or if you have traveled internationally recently.

Please cancel or schedule virtual sessions if you or an immediate family member has had a fever or respiratory illness in the last 48 hours.

We are happy to offer telehealth (virtual or phone) sessions in place of an office visit if you have traveled, have been exposed to respiratory illnesses, are feeling ill, are recovering from illness, or are experiencing anxiety about the potential outbreak. We will attempt to verify coverage of telehealth sessions prior to your appointment, we also strongly encourage you to contact your insurance company.

Please note that your counselor may need to cancel or request to do telehealth sessions during the coming weeks in order to protect herself, her family, and all of her clients. Your counselor will inform you with as much notice as possible if a change needs to be made to your appointment(s).

Please contact your counselor with any other questions. Thank you for understanding and your help!
